Wanda M (Korona) Folini

Wanda (Korona) Folini passed away on Feb 18, 2026 She was born to Andrew and Mary Korona on April15, 1930. Wanda grew up in Enfield, CT with one sister, Phylis, and four brothers, Matt, Joe, Frank and Stanley. All who predeceased her, In 1953 she married Gildo Folini and they had two children, Michael and his wife Melissa and Kristin and her husband Dan. Wanda was a homemaker throughout the 60s and 70s while the kids were growing up. In the 80s she and Gil would go on trips to Atlantic City and have good times with their many friends. Unfortunately, in 1995 when Wanda was only 65 years old, Gil passed away. After that she stayed busy doing some crafts and enjoying her grandchildren, Michael, Lauren, Emma, Abby and Ryan, whenever possible. And she adored her great grandchildren, Hunter and Nolan. Time caught up with Wanda, and she had some serious health issues. But she was an unbelievably strong person who made it all the way to 95 years. Now she is back with family and friends that passed before her and all her health issues are over. Rest in peace Wanda. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 27th from 10-11:30 am at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. A funeral Mass will follow at 12 noon in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 127 Holyoke Road, Westfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Westfield. Firtionadams.com
