Gail M. Ling

Gail M. (Russell) Ling, 68, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield. She was born in Springfield on July 9, 1955 to the late Leonard Russell and Geraldine (O’Connor). Gail was raised in Springfield and graduated from Commerce High School in 1973. She worked for New England Telephone and Telegraph and NorthropGrumman before retiring in 1992. Gail had a passion for hand drawing by pen and ink, loved to travel and also loved camping in California. She travelled all around New England with her husband Terry. Gail leaves behind her beloved husband, Terry of 36 years. Her step daughters Kimberly Ling of Las Vegas, NV, Her children, Shaun, Heather, Dee Ann, grandchildren Mateo, Kehlani, and Kai. Step daughter Kelly Alessi of Lancaster, CA. and her children Melanie, Michael, Gina and Brooke. Gail also leaves behind her brother Michael Russell of Feeding Hills. She was predeceased by her sister-in-law Geraldine Powell in 2023. Services will be private and at the convenience of her family.
